Jacob Harris

Jacob Harris Nielsen is a Danish politician currently serving as a member of the Folketing. Elected in the 2026 Danish general election representing the Citizens' Party, he was excluded from the party shortly after his election following allegations of financial misconduct related to a bankrupt company. Despite initial plans to take a leave of absence, he chose to remain in parliament as an independent member. Before his election to the national legislature, Harris worked as a plumber and was active in the Danish labour union Dansk Metal. He previously ran for local office in the 2021 municipal elections as a member of the Social Democratic Party.
