Jacqui Scruby

Jacqui Scruby is an Australian independent politician currently serving as the Member for Pittwater in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly, having won the seat in the 2024 by-election. Often identified as a "teal independent" with support from the Climate 200 organization, her political platform emphasizes environmental sustainability and integrity in government. Before entering parliament, she worked as an environmental lawyer, a sustainability consultant, and a political adviser to federal independent MPs Sophie Scamps and Zali Steggall. She holds degrees in Medical Science and Law from the University of Technology Sydney.
