Jaebong Song is a South Korean politician currently serving as a member of the 22nd National Assembly, representing the Cheongwon-gu district in Cheongju. Before his election, he was an active civic leader, serving as the secretary-general of the Chungbuk Participatory Citizens' Solidarity and as an administrator in the Presidential Secretariat during the Moon Jae-in administration. A member of the Democratic Party of Korea, he has held various party leadership roles, including floor spokesperson and chair of the special committee for North Korean defectors. His legislative focus includes industrial, trade, and energy policy, as well as climate crisis and political reform initiatives.
