Jae-soo Jeon is a South Korean politician currently serving as a three-term member of the National Assembly representing Busan's Buk-gu Gap district. A graduate of Dongguk University, he began his career as a legislative aide and served in various administrative roles during the Roh Moo-hyun administration, including at the Presidential Secretariat. Jeon previously served as the 24th Minister of Oceans and Fisheries in 2025 before resigning later that year. Throughout his legislative career, he has been active in committees related to education, culture, sports, and tourism, and has held leadership positions within the Democratic Party of Korea.
