Jake Ellzey

Jake Ellzey is an American politician and former military officer currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Texas's 6th congressional district since 2021. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, he served as a fighter pilot in the U.S. Navy for 20 years, completing multiple tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. Before his election to Congress, he worked as a commercial airline pilot and served as a commissioner for the Texas Veterans Commission. In the House, he has focused on defense and appropriations, maintaining a conservative voting record while participating in bipartisan delegations regarding international relations.
