Jamie Schmale is a Canadian politician serving as the Member of Parliament for the riding of Haliburton—Kawartha Lakes—Brock. First elected in 2015, he has been re-elected in subsequent federal elections. Before entering politics, he worked as a news anchor and news director for CHUM media and CKLY radio. Schmale previously served as an executive assistant to MP Barry Devolin for over a decade. Currently, he acts as the Conservative shadow minister for Crown-Indigenous Relations and serves as vice chair of the Standing Committee on Indigenous and Northern Affairs in the 45th Canadian Parliament.
