Janne Andersson

Janne Andersson is a Swedish former professional football manager and player. Born in Halmstad, he had a 14-year playing career before transitioning into coaching. He is best known for his tenure as the head coach of the Sweden national football team from 2016 to 2023, during which he led the team to the quarter-finals of the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the Round of 16 at UEFA Euro 2020. Previously, he achieved significant success at the club level, notably winning the Allsvenskan title with IFK Norrköping in 2015. Andersson retired from professional coaching in April 2025.
