Janusz Trzepizur

Janusz Trzepizur is a Polish politician and former high-level high jumper. Born in Namysłów, he achieved notable sports success in the early 1980s, including winning silver medals at the 1982 European indoor and outdoor championships, before transitioning into business and local government. He served as a city councillor in Opole from 2002 to 2006 and subsequently became a member of the Opole Voivodeship Sejmik, winning multiple re-elections representing the Civic Platform and the Civic Coalition.
