Jay Dean

Jay Dean is an American politician serving as a member of the Texas House of Representatives for District 7 since 2017. Before his election to the state legislature, he served as a city councilman and as the mayor of Longview, Texas, for ten years. A conservative Republican, Dean advocates for border security, job creation, and the protection of natural resources. He is known for his strong stance against abortion and his support for gun rights, earning an 'A' rating from the NRA Political Victory Fund. He remains active in his community and the Roman Catholic Church.
