Philip Jay Hooper is an American politician serving as a member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing the Orange-Washington-Addison district. First elected in 2016, he has been re-elected multiple times, including in 2024. Upon his initial election, he was recognized as one of the youngest legislators in the state. Hooper is the son of former State Representative and Secretary of State Donald M. Hooper. Beyond his legislative duties, he hosts a radio program titled 'The Heat of the House' on WCVR. He holds a degree from Connecticut College, where he double-majored in history and government.
