Jean-Yves Bony

Jean-Yves Bony is a French politician and farmer who has served as a member of the National Assembly for the 2nd constituency of Cantal since 2017, having previously held the seat from 2007 to 2010. Throughout his career, he has held various local mandates, including serving as the mayor of Ally and as a departmental councilor for the canton of Mauriac. Originally associated with The Republicans, he ran as an independent candidate in the 2024 legislative elections following a party split. He remains active in local governance as a municipal and community councilor.
