Jennifer McClellan is an American politician and attorney serving as the U.S. Representative for Virginia's 4th congressional district since 2023. She is the first Black woman elected to Congress from Virginia. Previously, she served in the Virginia State Senate from 2017 to 2023 and the Virginia House of Delegates from 2006 to 2017. Throughout her career, she has focused on voting rights, environmental protection, and education reform, notably sponsoring the Virginia Clean Economy Act and the Voting Rights Act of Virginia.
