Jens Metzger

Jens Metzger is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Baden-Württemberg, representing the Alliance 90/The Greens. Born in 1990 in Villingen-Schwenningen, he holds a bachelor's degree in European Studies from the University of Passau and a master's degree in Economics for Transition from a university in the United Kingdom. Before entering politics, he completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter and worked in the trade. Metzger has served on the Tuttlinger district board and the state board for his party, and he was elected to the Tuttlingen municipal council in 2024. He assumed his current seat in the state parliament following the 2026 Baden-Württemberg state election.
