Jerzy Materna is a Polish politician serving as a long-standing member of the Sejm, the lower house of the Polish parliament. First elected in 2005, he has represented the Lubusz constituency across multiple parliamentary terms. Between 2015 and 2018, he served as Secretary of State in the Ministry of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation. Before his national political career, he worked in construction management and served on the Zielona Góra city council. He is a member of the Law and Justice party.
