Jitu Vaghani

Jitendrabhai Savjibhai Vaghani, commonly known as Jitu Vaghani, is an Indian politician serving as a member of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly representing the Bhavnagar West constituency. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he previously served as the president of the party's Gujarat state unit from 2016 to 2020. In September 2021, he was appointed as a Cabinet Minister in the Gujarat government, holding portfolios including Education, Higher and Technical Education, and Science and Technology. Vaghani began his electoral career in 2007 and has since secured multiple victories in the Bhavnagar West assembly seat.
