Jo-Annes de Bat

Jo-Annes de Bat is a Dutch politician currently serving as the State Secretary for Climate and Green Growth in the Jetten cabinet, a position he assumed in February 2026. He holds a master's degree in public administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Before his national appointment, he held various local and provincial roles, including serving as a councillor and alderman in Goes, and as a member of the Provincial Executive of Zeeland. Throughout his career, he has been a prominent member of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) party.
