Joël Bruneau

Joël Bruneau is a French politician currently serving as a member of the National Assembly for the 1st constituency of Calvados, having been elected in the 2024 legislative elections. Prior to his parliamentary role, he served as the Mayor of Caen from 2014 to 2024, where he was reelected in 2020. A member of The Republicans, Bruneau has been recognized for his public service with the distinction of Knight of the Legion of Honour. His career has focused on local governance and regional development within the Calvados department.
