Joe Wilson

Joe Wilson is an American politician and attorney who has served as the U.S. Representative for South Carolina's 2nd congressional district since 2001. A staunch social and fiscal conservative, he previously served in the South Carolina Senate from 1985 to 2001. Wilson is a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve and the South Carolina Army National Guard, retiring as a colonel. Throughout his congressional career, he has focused on national security, foreign affairs, and economic policy, serving on the House Armed Services, Education and the Workforce, and Foreign Affairs committees. He is widely recognized for his long-standing commitment to conservative principles and his active involvement in various congressional caucuses focused on international relations and national defense.
