Johann Höfinger is an Austrian politician and a member of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). Born in Vienna and raised in Sieghartskirchen, he began his political career in the youth wing of the party and the farmers' association. He served as a member of the Austrian Federal Council from 2003 to 2006 before being elected to the National Council in 2006. Throughout his career, he has focused on agricultural and environmental policy, previously serving as the mayor of Sieghartskirchen from 2008 to 2014.
