John Blust

John Marshall Blust is an American politician currently serving as a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives for the 62nd district. First elected to the state House in 2000, he served until 2018 before returning to the chamber in 2024 following an appointment to succeed John Faircloth. His legislative career also includes a term in the North Carolina Senate from 1996 to 1999. Throughout his tenure, Blust has been a prominent figure in North Carolina Republican politics, including a 2016 bid for the United States House of Representatives.
