John Hayes

Sir John Henry Hayes is a British Conservative Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for South Holland and The Deepings since 1997. A prominent figure on the right wing of the Conservative Party, he has held various ministerial and shadow ministerial positions, including roles in the Department for Transport and the Home Office. Known for his social conservatism, Euroscepticism, and economic protectionism, Hayes has been a vocal advocate for traditional conservative values and Brexit. He was appointed a Privy Councillor in 2013 and received a knighthood in 2018 for his political and public service.
