John Lister

John Francis William Lister is an Australian politician serving as the Member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly for Werribee since his victory in the 2025 state by-election. Before entering parliament, he worked as a teacher at Wyndham Central College, where he served as a year 10 co-ordinator, and also held a position as a ministerial adviser. A volunteer with the Country Fire Authority, Lister has advocated for improved teacher wages, drawing on his recent experience in the education sector.
