John Wesley Fitzgerald

John Wesley Fitzgerald is an American politician serving as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives for the 83rd district since 2023. As of January 2025, he holds the position of Democratic Minority Floor Leader in the House. Before his election to the state legislature, Fitzgerald served as a member-at-large on the Wyoming City Council from 2021 to 2022. A graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in history, he previously worked as an account executive in the insurance industry. He is the son of former state representative Frank Fitzgerald and currently resides in Wyoming, Michigan.
