Jonah Wheeler is an American politician and activist serving as a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives for District 33. Sworn in at age 19 in 2022, he became one of the youngest state legislators in the United States. Before his election, he worked on the Bernie Sanders 2020 presidential campaign and served on the Peterborough Zoning Board of Adjustment. Wheeler has occasionally broken with his party, notably voting in favor of legislation regarding transgender protections, which drew criticism from fellow Democrats.
