Lim Jong-deuk is a South Korean politician and former military officer currently serving as a member of the 22nd National Assembly, representing the Yeongju, Yeongyang, and Bonghwa constituency. A graduate of the Korea Military Academy, he had a distinguished career in the Republic of Korea Army, reaching the rank of Major General and serving as the commander of the 17th Infantry Division. Before entering electoral politics, he served as the Second Deputy Director of the National Security Office under the Yoon Suk-yeol administration. As a lawmaker, he has focused on national defense and security policy, serving on the National Defense Committee and the Budget and Accounts Committee.
