José Airton Cirilo is a Brazilian politician and civil engineer currently serving as a Federal Deputy for the state of Ceará. A member of the Workers' Party (PT), he has held various public offices throughout his career, including serving as a city councilor in Aracati and Fortaleza, and as the mayor of Icapuí for two terms. He gained national prominence during his 2002 gubernatorial campaign in Ceará, where he forced a second-round runoff. Additionally, he served as a director at the National Land Transport Agency (ANTT) following his appointment in 2005.
