Jose Teves Jr.

Jose Teves Jr. is a Filipino politician currently serving as a representative of the TGP Partylist in the House of Representatives of the Philippines. Before his tenure in Congress, he served as the mayor of Baras, Catanduanes, for three terms from 2001 to 2010, and subsequently as the Vice Governor of Catanduanes from 2010 to 2016. In the House, he has been involved in committees concerning constitutional amendments and youth sports development, and has advocated for policies such as waste management, the protection of local paper industries, and the prohibition of single-use plastics.
