Josef Schöchl

Josef Schöchl is an Austrian politician and veterinarian who has served as a member of the Salzburg Landtag since 2009. A member of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP), he previously held the position of President of the Landtag from January to June 2018. Before his full-time political career, Schöchl worked as a veterinarian, including serving as the State Veterinary Director of Salzburg. He holds a doctorate in veterinary medicine and has authored several books on culinary history.
