Joseph Alban D'Souza

Joseph Alban D'Souza (1878–1964) was an Indian politician who served as the Mayor of Bombay from 1945 to 1946. He was a significant figure in the transition of India to independence, serving as a member of the Constituent Assembly of India, where he represented Bombay and contributed to the drafting of the Constitution of India. Throughout his career, he held several administrative roles, including serving as a three-term member of the Standing Committee, its chairman, and the Chairman of the Public Health Commission.
