Joseph Bernos

Joseph Sto. Niño Blando Bernos is a Filipino politician currently serving as a member of the Philippine House of Representatives for the Lone District of Abra, a position he assumed in 2025 after previously holding the seat from 2016 to 2022. The son of former Abra Governor Andres Bernos, he began his political career in local government, serving as a councilor, vice mayor, and mayor of La Paz, Abra. During his tenure as mayor, he also served as the president of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines. Throughout his career, he has been affiliated with several political parties, including the Liberal Party, Asenso Party, Nacionalista Party, and Lakas-CMD.
