Judith Collins is a New Zealand politician who served as a long-standing Member of Parliament for Papakura and Clevedon. A lawyer by profession, she held numerous high-ranking ministerial portfolios, including Minister of Justice, Minister of Police, and Minister of Defence. She served as the Leader of the Opposition and leader of the New Zealand National Party from 2020 to 2021. Known for her tough-on-crime stance, she retired from politics in May 2026 to become president of the New Zealand Law Commission.
