Julia Herr

Julia Herr is an Austrian politician and a member of the National Council, representing the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ). She previously served as the chairwoman of the Socialist Youth Austria (SJÖ) from 2014 to 2020 and as the chair of the Austrian Federal Youth Council. Since June 2023, she has served as the deputy chair of the SPÖ parliamentary group. Herr is known for her progressive political stances, including advocacy for social equality, the expansion of women's rights, and environmental sustainability through a Green New Deal. She has consistently campaigned for policies that prioritize public interests over corporate profits, including the regulation of housing markets and the implementation of stricter campaign finance rules.
