Prior to her parliamentary career, she was a business owner and active in various professional and social organizations, including the Indonesian Women Entrepreneurs Association (IWAPI). She also serves as the Chair of the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) and the Regional Handicraft Council (Dekranasda) for East Nusa Tenggara province.
