A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he is the son of prominent political figures Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and Ketki Devi Singh. Beyond his legislative duties, he serves as the president of the Uttar Pradesh Wrestling Association and leads a cooperative development bank in Nawabganj. Before entering politics, he was a national-level double trap shooter and pursued studies in business management.
