Kassem Hachem

Kassem Hachem is a Lebanese politician and a long-serving member of the Parliament of Lebanon. Born in Chebaa in 1960, he pursued his higher education in dentistry at Damascus University. Hachem is a prominent member of the Arab Socialist Baath Party and serves as the head of its West Bekaa-Centre branch. He has been a consistent parliamentary presence, having been elected to represent his constituency in the 2000, 2005, 2009, 2018, and 2022 general elections as part of the Development and Liberation bloc.
