Kata Tüttő is a Hungarian politician, economist, and public servant who has served as the President of the European Committee of the Regions since February 2025. She is the first Hungarian to lead an EU institution. Previously, she served as the Deputy Mayor of Budapest from 2019 to 2024, where she focused on climate adaptation, public transport, and utility management. A long-time member of the Hungarian Socialist Party, she has held various local government roles in Budapest since 1998 and was recognized by Forbes in 2023 as one of the most influential women in Hungarian public life.
