Katja Mast

Katja Mast is a German politician who has served as a member of the Bundestag representing the Pforzheim district since 2005. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) since 1993, she has held various leadership roles within her parliamentary group, including serving as chief whip from 2022 to 2025. In addition to her legislative duties, she was appointed as a Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in 2025. Throughout her career, Mast has focused on social policy and labor issues, previously serving as the secretary general of the SPD in Baden-Württemberg.
