Katja Nyberg is a Swedish politician and former police officer who serves as a member of the Riksdag. Before entering national politics, she worked as a police officer and for the Swedish Security Service. Elected to parliament in 2018 as a representative of the Sweden Democrats, she served on the Justice Committee with a focus on addressing gang crime and honor violence. In early 2026, following allegations of criminal misconduct, she resigned from the Sweden Democrats but continues to serve as an independent member of the Riksdag.
