Kenichiro Seki is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives, representing the Aichi 15th district for Nippon Ishin no Kai. A graduate of Keio University, he previously worked as a journalist for NHK for 11 years. Seki began his political career with the Democratic Party and has served in various opposition parties, including the Democratic Party of Japan, the Party of Hope, and the Constitutional Democratic Party, before joining Nippon Ishin no Kai. His policy positions include support for constitutional reform, including the addition of an emergency clause, and he has expressed support for selective separate surnames for married couples and same-sex marriage. He returned to the Diet following the 2026 general election.
