Kent Ranum is a Norwegian politician who has served as the Mayor of Trondheim since October 2023. A member of the Conservative Party, he led the transition to a parliamentary system of government in the city in 2024. Before his political career, Ranum worked as a lawyer and was involved in real estate investment. He is also known for his previous work as an entertainer and his leadership role in the Rosenborg Ballklub election committee. He previously served as a member of the Trondheim City Council from 2011 to 2015.
