Prior to his election, he worked as a field organizer for the Florida Democratic Party and served as a congressional liaison for representatives Debbie Mucarsel-Powell and Donna Shalala. Chambliss is active in bipartisan policy initiatives, serving as Co-Chair of the Florida chapter of the Future Caucus and participating in the 2024 Future Caucus Innovation Fellowship for healthcare policy.
