Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar is an Emirati diplomat and government official currently serving as a Minister of State within the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. With a career spanning several decades, he has held numerous ambassadorial positions, representing the UAE in Syria, Iran, Armenia, and Turkey. Before his appointment as Minister of State in February 2021, he served as the Assistant Minister for Political Affairs and held various leadership roles within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including Director of the Department of International Organisations. He holds a master's degree in Political Economics from the New School for Social Research in New York and a bachelor's degree in Economy and Business Administration from Sophia University in Japan.
