Klaus Wichmann

Klaus Wichmann is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Lower Saxony, representing the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. Born in 1964, he is a qualified lawyer based in Verden. Wichmann has served in the state parliament since 2017, having previously held the position of parliamentary manager for his party's faction. In February 2024, he was elected as the chairman of the AfD parliamentary group in the Landtag. Before his legislative career, he served as a member of the district council of Verden.
