Koichiro Ichimura is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives. A graduate of Hitotsubashi University and the Matsushita Institute of Government and Management, he began his career in policy research before entering national politics. Throughout his career, he has served as Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and has been deeply involved in NPO reform, social infrastructure development, and public safety issues. He is currently affiliated with Nippon Ishin no Kai and continues to represent the Kinki region in the Diet.
