Lê Minh Hưng is a Vietnamese politician and economist who has served as the 9th Prime Minister of Vietnam since April 2026. A member of the Politburo, he previously held significant roles including Head of the Central Organization Commission, Chief of the Office of the Central Committee, and Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam. Known as a technocrat, Hưng has focused his career on monetary policy, financial restructuring, and administrative reform. He holds a master's degree in economics and public policy from Saitama University in Japan.
