"Larry" Seilhamer Rodríguez is a Puerto Rican politician and former professional basketball player who served as a member of the Senate of Puerto Rico from 2009 until his resignation in January 2020. Affiliated with the pro-statehood New Progressive Party, he held leadership roles including Senate Majority Leader and Minority Leader during his legislative career. He was later nominated as Secretary of State of Puerto Rico in late 2020, though his appointment was ultimately not confirmed by the House of Representatives in 2021.
