Laura Trott is a British Conservative politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Sevenoaks since 2019. A former special adviser in the Number 10 Policy Unit under David Cameron, she has held several government roles, including Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Pensions and Chief Secretary to the Treasury. Following the 2024 general election, she was appointed Shadow Education Secretary. Trott is recognized for her work on family policy and her successful legislative efforts to restrict cosmetic procedures for minors.
