Lesego Chombo

Lesego Chombo is a Motswana politician, attorney, and former beauty pageant titleholder currently serving as Botswana's Minister of Youth and Gender Affairs and as a specially elected member of the National Assembly. Born in Shorobe, she earned a law degree from the University of Botswana and practiced as an attorney before gaining national prominence by winning Miss Botswana 2022 and finishing in the Top 4 at Miss World 2023 as Miss World Africa. Appointed to the cabinet in November 2024 at age 26, she is the youngest person to hold ministerial office in the country's history, focusing her public service on youth empowerment, social equity, and community development.
