Levan Makhashvili is a Georgian academic and politician currently serving as a Member of the Parliament of Georgia. Elected in 2024, he represents the ruling Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia party and chairs the parliamentary Committee on European Integration. Before entering national politics, he held various roles in the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. An accomplished scholar, he holds a doctorate in European Studies and has served as an associate professor at several universities, including the European University and East European University.
