Lizzi Collinge

Lizzi Collinge is a British Labour Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Morecambe and Lunesdale since 2024. Before her election to the House of Commons, she was a member of the Lancashire County Council, representing Lancaster East from 2016 to 2025. Collinge holds a degree in politics and Spanish from the University of Central Lancashire. Politically, she has advocated for the role of nuclear power in the UK's energy strategy, citing its importance for low-carbon electricity and local job creation. Additionally, she serves as the chair of the All Party Parliamentary Humanist Group.
